Accommodation and Activities

Located in Mulgimaa, South Estonia, Torupillitalu is a place where music, heritage, nature and creativity come together. The story of musicians and instrument makers has been passed down here through generations.

At Torupillitalu, you can hear the Estonian bagpipe, learn about how it is made and, if your interest goes further, even order your very own bagpipe. But there is much more to experience: come for a concert, spend time making music and creating, organise a training session or seminar, a camp or another event, or simply enjoy the sauna and relax.

Facilities: The large fireplace hall on the ground floor of the rustic, three-storey farmhouse-style building is suitable for seminars, training sessions, concerts and other events. A more private fireplace room on the third floor is well suited for workshops, yoga retreats, discussion groups and similar activities. During the summer, guests can also use the terrace and outdoor area on the sunrise-facing side of the building.

Accommodation: Torupillitalu can accommodate up to 32 overnight guests. A beautiful ash-wood spiral staircase leads to the second floor, where there are 10 bedrooms. Each room has three separate beds, a shower room and a toilet. There is also a more private bedroom with a double bed available at our farmstay house. If needed, an extra sleeping place (mattress) can be added to each room, allowing accommodation for up to 42 guests in total.

Saunas: Torupillitalu has two saunas: a sauna with a small pool in the main building, with two separate changing rooms, and a traditional smokesauna by the pond, a short distance from the main house.

Catering: For groups, our kitchen on the ground floor, next to the large fireplace hall, can be rented if needed. Meals can be served in the spacious fireplace hall, which can accommodate up to 60 guests. We can also help you to find a suitable catering provider.

  • Accommodation (three-bed room, breakfast not included) – €35/person
  • Use of the large fireplace hall on the ground floor with kitchen for one day without accommodation (regardless of group size) – €700
  • Use of the entire house for one day without accommodation (regardless of group size) – €900
  • Use of the entire house with accommodation (one night, including use of the kitchen and sauna in the holiday house / for up to 32 people) – €1,500
