Taul & Taul Summer Solstice Concert 2026

-

The Taul family's traditional summer solstice concert is back! On Saturday, 21 June 2026, starting at 6:00 pm, we celebrate the brightest time of the year with a magical solstice concert. Come and enjoy the evening with your family!

The concert takes place in two parts. In the first part, Taul & Taul Trio will perform in their core line-up: Anu, Triinu and Tõnis Taul. The connecting texts will be read by Erkki Peetsalu.

Anu and Triinu Taul are singers and songwriters who have studied and developed their voices using a variety of vocal techniques and have now found their own unique musical path. Their vocal sound is sensitive and deeply touching. They are inspired by traditional culture and music, as well a nature-oriented way of experiencing and expressing the world. Their musical language is diverse and their compositions are rich in distinctive colours and textures.

Tõnis complements the sisters' vocals with a variety of instruments. All the songs and compositions are their own. You will hear and see a wide range of instruments, from the bagpipe and whistles to the zither, guitar, diatonic accordion and shamanic drum.

The connecting texts are written by Erkki Peetsalu, whose words Anu has set to music for an entire album and beyond.

At the end of the first part of the concert, a ceremonial bonfire will be lit to the accompaniment of bagpipe music and communal singing, followed by a short intermission.

The second half of the evening continues with more energetic music. In addition to Anu, Triinu and Tõnis, their brother Andrus Taul will join them on percussion, while their father Ants Taul will play accordion and Teppo-style diatonic accordion. Special guest: violinist Aksel Mängli.

The programme features the Taul family's more rhythmic songs and instrumental pieces. Come, dance and sing in rhythm with nature and celebrate this beautiful and powerful time together!

This is an evening where the strength of one family comes together to create something truly inspirational and powerful!

Tickets are available through the ticketing platform Fienta and at the venue before the concert.

A pop-up café will also be open, with cash payment only.

After the concert, from 9:00 pm onwards, guests can enjoy the sauna. Please bring your own towel.

The event takes place outdoors. We recommend bringing your own camping chair or sitting mat. If it is a mosquito-heavy summer, don't forget your mosquito repellent. Please leave pets at home.

It is possible to stay overnight at the Torupillitalu holiday house. Please book your accommodation well in advance. More information is available on the Torupillitalu website.
